We invite you to participate in the IEEE Symposium on 3D User Interfaces 2008 in Reno, Nevada, USA, March 8-9, 2008.
IEEE 3DUI 2008 is the third international symposium on 3D UIs and will be held to provide an intensive exchange between industrial and academic researchers working in various 3DUI research areas and to trigger discussions among participants. It builds on successful 3DUI workshops in 2004-05 and 3DUI 2006-07. The symposium will last for two days, and will be followed immediately by the IEEE VR conference.
The theme of the Symposium will cover all areas of 3D UI research. The Symposium themes include, but are not limited to, the following topics:
- 3D input devices
- 3D display devices
- 3D interaction techniques
- 3D user interface metaphors
- Collaborative 3D interaction
- Evaluation methods for 3D UIs
- Applications of 3D UI techniques
