The 3DUI Symposium solicits high quality papers and tech-notes within the scope of 3DUI (see Double-Submissions Policy ). Papers (up to 8 pages) should describe original and mature research results and will typically include some evaluation of the presented results. Tech-notes (up to 4 pages) should contain preliminary results of research or design work. Authors should title their tech-notes with "Tech-note: title" to differentiate it from full papers and posters in the proceedings. Both should be prepared in IEEE VGTC format submitted through the submission web site in PDF format, and will be reviewed by the program committee and external reviewers. Reviewing is double-blind. Accepted papers and tech-notes will be published by IEEE in the official Symposium proceedings. The Program Committee will also award a Best Paper award, and authors of the best papers will be invited to submit an extended version to a journal.

To make a contribution, log in to the submission page below, and submit an extended abstract by October 24, 2008 (extended abstract due), and a full version pdf file by October 31, 2008 (full submission due). An extended abstract is used for reviewer assignment purposes, and is acceptable in any length / format. Submission information as well as the pdf file can be modified at any time before the full submission due.

December 19, 2008: notification to authors
January 5, 2009: camera-ready papers due
