ECOWS’06 will take place at the Technopark, Zurich. The Technopark Zurich was opened in 1993 as a technology transfer undertaking. Here, successful start-up companies offering peak technological performance interact with well-established firms and various research groups in wide-ranging fields and disciplines.

Apart from being an incubator and home to a variety of technology companies the Techopark also provides an outstanding meeting facility with the latest technologies.

The Technopark Zurich is located in the centre of Switzerland's largest metropolis, near the Universty of Zurich and the ETH Federal Institute of technology. It is a convenient 10 minutes train ride from the train station and a five minute train ride (10 minute streetcar ride from the center of town.
