Authors are invited to submit papers of not more than 8 pages of double column text using single spaced 10 point size on 8.5 x 11 inch pages, as per IEEE 8.5 x 11 manuscript guidelines (http://www.computer.org/cspress/instruct.htm). You can download the paper template in word format or IEEE Latex Style.

Authors should submit a Word or PDF files using the online submission and review system (http://www.servicesscience.org/scw07/SubmitAbstract.php).  Please select the WORKSHOP NAME as the Topic in the submission system. Do not submit your paper to more than one workshop. The accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of the Services Computing Workshops (SCW 2007) by the IEEE Computer Socity Press and will be made available online through the IEEE Digital Library.

Call for Proposals for ICWS 2007 Workshops

ICWS (IEEE International Conference on Web Services) has been a prime international forum for both researchers and industry practitioners to exchange the latest fundamental advances in the state of the art and practice of Web services, identify emerging research topics, and define the future of Web services. ICWS 2007 invites proposals for workshops to be held on July 9 and July 13 in conjunction with the ICWS and SCC conferences. Workshop duration can be one day or one and half day. A single volume proceedings encompassing all the workshops will be published by IEEE Computer Society. You can consider to organize a workshop that is related but not limited to one of the following topics:

  • Web Services Standards
  • Semantic Web Services
  • Web Services Security
  • Web Services Management
  • Web Services Transaction
  • Web Services Discovery
  • Web Services Composition
  • Web Services Orchestration
  • Web Services Policy and Rules
Workshop proposals should include the following information:
  • Title of the workshop;
  • A description of the workshop, list of topics, important dates, and duration;
  • A justification of how it complements the conference theme; and
  • A short biography of workshop organizers (Ph.D. students are not encouraged to organize workshops) .
