IEEE SCC 2006 REGISTRATION
Each paper needs one registration at least. If you have more than one accepted papers, you need to register for each one. If you are looking for visa letter for attending IEEE ICWS 2006 or SCC 2006, please follow IEEE Conference Visa Letter Request Process.
IEEESCC 2006 provides the following three ways for registration.
1. Online Registration (Strongly Recommended)
A PayPal powered online registration system is avaiable at SCC 2006 Online Registration System . As an eBay Company, PayPal provides the most popular on-line payment system. PayPal allows individual customer to send money or collect money online without any transaction fees.
ICWS 2006 participants who are new to PayPal will no longer be required
to create a PayPal account to complete the registration. You will go through
an alternate checkout, and will have the option to sign up afterward. Please
SELECT "No shipping required (online download, payment for a service,
etc.)" when you provide your billing information on the shipping page.
ICWS 2006 participants who already have PayPal accounts will continue to enjoy the privileges of those accounts, such as payment history and integration with eBay Auctions, and their checkout experience will remain the same. You can get a FREE PayPal account now.
2. Register via Fax or Regular Mail
Download the registration form here. Then FAX or email your scanned signed form to the registration chair at 1-914-729-1088. If you would like to send by mail with a check, please send an email to registration AT servicescomputing.org to get the mailing address.
3. Bank transfer
FAX your signed form to the registration chair at registration AT servicescomputer.org and request bank account information for IEEESCC 2006.
Cancellations and Substitutions
Cancellations and substitutions are allowed. However, full registration fees will be charged unless a cancellation notice is sent in writing, and received or faxed on or before 08/10/2006 to the registration chair ofSCC 2006. All the registrations for published papers in the Proceedings of IEEESCC 2006 cannot be cancelled.
A $70 handling fee will be applied to all canceled registrations. Fees
cannot be refunded for registrations cancelled after the deadline (08/10/2006).
No-shows will be billed. A letter on your company's letterhead is required
from the original registrant stating the conditions of the substitution
and the name of the replacement.
IEEE Conference Visa Letter Request Process
IEEE's guidelines for providing visa letters are as follows:

Visa letters should only be issued to
• People the committee knows
• Speakers/Presenters
• Committee members
• Attendees who have paid their registration fee in full and are not from one of the countries
embargoed by the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control
Visa letters should state only the facts
• Conference title, dates and location
• That the requester has paid the required registration fee in full (Verify that the credit card
clears before providing letter).
• If they are either a committee member, speaker or presenter
