The 2008 IEEE Congress on Services (SERVICES 2008) in Hawaii and the 2008 IEEE International Conference on Services Computing (SCC 2008, http://conferences.computer.org/scc/2008) are sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Services Computing (TC-SVC, http://tab.computer.org/tcsc ).

Building on its great success in 2004 , 2005 , 2006, and 2007, the 2008 IEEE International Conference on Services Computing (SCC 2008) continues to bridge the gap between Services Computing and Business models with an emerging suite of ground-breaking technology that includes service-oriented architecture, business process integ ration and management, grid/utility/autonomic computing and mobile computing such as ad-hoc networks.

SERVICES 2008 (Hawaii) and SCC 2008 will be co-located with the IEEE Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) Industry Summit and IEEE International Services Computing Contest will be featured at this joint event. The theme of SCC 2008 is Services: Business, Technology, and Application.
