Planning your visit to Seattle: Public transportation leaves a Bellevue station (located just 2 blocks from the Hyatt Regency hotel) for downtown Seattle every ten minutes. Come a day early or stay a day late-visit the city of Seattle, the sights of nearby Tacoma, or one of several nearby national parks! Here are some useful links:

Visit the Seattle Waterfront, with the nearby Pike Place Market, the Seattle Aquarium, the Odessey Maritime Discovery Center, and the Seattle Art Museum. The conference banquet will take place aboard the Royal Argosy cruise ship, as we cruise from the Waterfront through the Navy Locks.

The Space Needle is one of Seattle's iconic tourist locations. Right next door, explore the Seattle City Center, a center for arts and culture, family entertainment, shows, and events.

Interested in more intellectual fare? Visit the Boeing Future of Flight Museum in Mukilteo or the Microsoft Visitor's Center in Redmond. Both are a short drive from Bellevue.

Like outdoor activities? Take a ferry to the San Juan Islands for a whale watching tour, visit one of the many San Juan area art galleries, or rent a kayak and take a scenic ride past the snow-capped Olympic Mountains.

Tacoma is only 30 minutes south of Seattle. Visit the Tacoma Museum of Glass or the Washington State History Museum.
