CSEE&T'99 Submission Instructions

These are submission instructions for authors wanting to have papers, panels, tutorial proposals, and workshop position statements reviewed for possible inclusion in the conference proceedings.  Instructions for submission of camera-ready copies of accepted papers will be provided later.

You may submit your files in Microsoft Word (with a .doc extension), WordPerfect (.wpd), Rich Text Format (.rtf), or PostScript (.ps) format.  The Program Chair will be using Word 97 for Windows 95/NT for reading the Word and WordPerfect files, and GhostScript 4.03 for reading the PostScript files.

The suggested format is 8.5 by 11 inch pages.  Those authors who use A4 format instead of 8.5 by 11 are requested to do one of the following: 1) Convert the document to 8.5 by 11 just before submitting it electronically (preferred), or 2) submit the document in Word, WordPerfect, or Rich Text Format, and the Program Chair will then convert it before releasing the document for review.

There is a limit of 5,000 words for papers, 1,200 words for workshop position statements, and 800 words for panel and tutorial proposals.  (The camera-ready copy that goes in the 6 by 9 inch conference proceedings will be restricted to twelve pages for papers, three pages for workshop position statements, and two pages for panels and tutorials.)

At the beginning of your document, please provide the following information:

Submission Options

The files should reach the Program Chair no later than September 15, 1998.  Your document files will be assigned a tracking number, converted to PostScript (if necessary) and PDF format, and made available for review by the conference referees.  Notification of acceptance or rejection will be on or before November 16, 1998.
