The Venue

IC2E 2017 will be held on the vancouver campus of Simon Fraser University. Described by the Vancouver Sun as the "intellectual heart of the city," Simon Fraser University’s Vancouver campus transformed the landscape of urban education in downtown Vancouver. The campus is comprised of multiple facilities clustered in the core of one of the world’s most liveable cities.

Transportation

Transportation options from the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to the conference venue include:

Parking: There is no free parking in downtown Vancouver, but it is fairly easy to find a paid parking lot. For parking information in the area, please refer to this link.

Biking: For those who would like to explore around by bike, you can try the Mobi bike share system.

The best way to get to the Cloud 9 restaurant from the conference venue is to walk. It is a 22 minutes walk (1.7km), and the detailed route could be found here. Alternatively, you can use taxi or Mobi bike.


The City

Vancouver is known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Bordered by the Pacific Ocean, the Fraser River, the Burrard Inlet, and the Coast Mountains to the east, the city is surrounded by shimmering waters and towering trees.
