Title: Workload Automation Pattern: An emerging SLO oriented Hybrid Cloud orchestration approach
Abstract:
New Hybrid Data Center capabilities are characterized by their ability to deploy and adjust capacities & structures quickly to the need of Workloads supporting complex, multi-tier business applications. Complex automations will be needed to implement IT delivery and IT management best practices addressing the full lifecycle of a workload-specific IT service provided. This talk will report back on an IBM Global effort to analyze different practices, characterize the resulting Patterns in various dimensions and provide a framework to allow joint development and collaboration.
What will attendees Learn from this session:
Highly automated and hybrid IT delivery needs to reflect on fit-for-purpose DC Services setup and management.
One-size does not fit all. Best Practices in that space need to be coded in patterns to allow for quick reaction,
investment protection and composability.
This space needs collaboration between consumer, provider and producers of pattern.
