Sri is currently working as Standards Senior Manager for IEEE with specific focus on enabling and promoting standardization activities in India. In his current role with IEEE, Sri has been driving the efforts in enabling participation and contributing to standards development activities in India through the various activities, events across technology sectors that include Smart Grid, Telecommunication, Cloud Computing, Design Automation, and EHealth. Sri has been involved in standards development activities for more than 10 years and was also the technical chair of standards working group in design automation within Accellera Standards Development Organization.
Prior to joining IEEE, Sri was associated with Freescale Semiconductor Inc. (formerly Motorola Inc.) for 17 years, managing a team focused on development of internal tools and methodologies in the area of Electronic Design Automation.
Sri holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Madras University, India and a Master of Engineering degree in electrical communication from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India.

Dr. Gopal Pingali is Distinguished Engineer & Director of the Global SSA Hub & Cloud Center of Excellence in IBM. In this role he drives the design of cloud solutions for customers worldwide, ensures standardization and quality in cloud solutions, and leads a team of architects across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. He is also responsible for several other Specialty Service Areas (SSA's) operating from India including Enterprise Architecture, Storage, Workplace Services, Integrated Service Management, Security & Compliance, Data Center Management and Optimization, and Virtualization and Distributed Server Management. Prior to his current role in IBM Global Technology Services, Gopal was in IBM Research for a decade where he played various roles including Chief Architect of a Big Bet on Mobile Web, leader of Experience Management and its application to Services, and leader of Smart Interactive Spaces.
Gopal obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1993, worked at Bell Labs in Murray Hill, NJ from 1994 to 2001 when he joined the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center at Hawthorne, New York. He has been operating from Bangalore, India for the last three years. He has over sixty published papers and won several international best paper awards. He has 40 patents issued and in process and is an IBM Master Inventor. He is also a Member of the Leadership Team of the IBM Academy of Technology. Over the years he has been the technology leader driving several products to market in areas such as mobile solutions, self service portals, next generation contact centers, smart interactive spaces, and video based tracking systems.
His current passion is in enabling Cloud based innovations for businesses worldwide, and in driving more leadership from India. He is a founding member of the Cloud Computing Innovation Council for India and founder Chair of the IEEE International Conference on Cloud Computing in Emerging Markets (CCEM).

Chivukula Sree Rama Prabhu is the Deputy Director General (Scientist “G”), National Informatics Centre (NIC), Hyderabad (Ministry of Communications and Information Technology). As Deputy Director General (since 2004) in charge of new technology induction at the national level, he is steering the NIC Cloud Initiative of implementing Eucalyptus based IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) Cloud overlapping PaaS (Platform as a Service) and SaaS (Software as a Service) layers and has research publications in International Journals in this regard.
He is engaged in the implementation of SOA (Service Oriented Approach) based e-Governance grid of India including virtualization and cloud computing, covering all State and District Centres of NIC.
C.S.R. Prabhu obtained his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 1978 after a Bachelors Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad in 1976. He has worked in various capacities at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), CMC, TES and TELCO (now Tata Motors) before joining NIC, and is well published and received numerous awards.
