IEEE/ACM CHASE 2019 aims at bringing together researchers from all
over the world interested in the field of connected health to
exchange innovative ideas and develop collaborations. Connected
health can be defined as the use of Internet, sensing,
communications, signal and data processing and other computational
techniques in support of health-related Applications, Systems and
Engineering. Connected health technologies create huge opportunities
yet significant challenges still need to be resolved. This Call for Workshops solicits workshop proposals in hot and
emerging research areas related to Connected Health. Examples
include (but are not limited to) new sensors and sensing technology,
new communication and networking technology in support of connected
health; connectivity for implantable devices; new clinical
applications of connected health; new experimental platforms and
testing tools; connectivity health in support of nanomedicine;
system performance and energy efficiency; user experience and user
study for health related applications; security and privacy in smart
and connected health. A proposal of full-day workshop focuses on a specific theme of
current interest that can attract high-quality submissions. Please, include the following information: Papers in the workshops will be put in proceedings, which will be
coordinated by CHASE. Workshop proposals should be sent to the workshop chair:
