CALL FOR WORKSHOPS

IEEE/ACM CHASE 2019 aims at bringing together researchers from all over the world interested in the field of connected health to exchange innovative ideas and develop collaborations. Connected health can be defined as the use of Internet, sensing, communications, signal and data processing and other computational techniques in support of health-related Applications, Systems and Engineering. Connected health technologies create huge opportunities yet significant challenges still need to be resolved.

This Call for Workshops solicits workshop proposals in hot and emerging research areas related to Connected Health. Examples include (but are not limited to) new sensors and sensing technology, new communication and networking technology in support of connected health; connectivity for implantable devices; new clinical applications of connected health; new experimental platforms and testing tools; connectivity health in support of nanomedicine; system performance and energy efficiency; user experience and user study for health related applications; security and privacy in smart and connected health.

WORKSHOP SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

A proposal of full-day workshop focuses on a specific theme of current interest that can attract high-quality submissions.

Please, include the following information:

  1. Title of the workshop
  2. Significance and timeliness
  3. The target audience; will this help bring new people to or help current people in CHASE
  4. Full contact and a short bio of the workshop organizers
  5. Planned format for the full-day workshop with expected paper submission volume, and with the expected number of participants.
  6. A tentative list of TPC members
  7. A draft of Call for Papers
  8. Advertisement plan for the Call for Papers
  9. History of the workshop (if applicable)

Papers in the workshops will be put in proceedings, which will be coordinated by CHASE.
