Cloud Computing is a paradigm where pool of applications and computing resources are
made available to users in an on-demand manner with minimal administrative effort.
Today, companies are using the Cloud to take advantage of the benefits that Cloud Computing
has demonstrated, namely scalability, flexibility, automation and resource sharing.
Indeed, Cloud Computing transforms existing business models and nurtures new business models
by delivering new types of cloud-enabled applications and services. It raises challenges and
opportunities collectively for both academia and industry to study, design, prove, scale and
manage the applications and services enabled by Cloud Computing.
ASOC 2012, collocated with ICEBE 2012, would be held in Hangzhou, China in September 9-11, 2012.
This year, the main theme is smart cloud services. It will offer a prestigious forum for
scientists and practitioners in academia, industry and government to share their knowledge,
best practices, and visions, to identify new challenges and opportunities, and to present
their latest research findings in the aspect of cloud-enabled services.
- Public Cloud computing platform for consumers
- Private Cloud computing platform for enterprise
