Call for Workshop Proposals
IEEE/ACM CHASE 2025 aims to bring together researchers from all over the world interested in the field of connected health to exchange innovative ideas and develop collaborations. Connected health can be defined as the use of the Internet, sensing, communications, signal and data processing, and other computational techniques in support of health-related Applications, Systems, and Engineering. Connected health technologies create huge opportunities yet significant challenges still need to be resolved. This Call for Workshops solicits workshop proposals in hot and emerging research areas related to Connected Health. Examples include (but are not limited to) new sensors, devices, sensing and embedded systems technology, new communication and networking technology in support of connected health; new clinical applications of connected health; new experimental platforms and testing tools; connectivity health in support of nanomedicine; system performance and energy efficiency; user experience and user study for health-related applications; security and privacy in smart and connected health.
This Call for Workshops solicits workshop proposals in hot and emerging research areas related to Connected Health. Examples include (but are not limited to) -
- Next-generation multimodal and reconfigurable sensors, devices, and systems;
- Integration of cyber-physical systems for enhanced healthcare delivery;
- Advancements in robotics for healthcare applications;
- Transformative analytics for biomedical and behavioral research;
- Innovative communication and networking technology in support of connected health;
- New clinical applications leveraging connected health technologies;
- New experimental platforms and testing tools;
- Connectivity health in support of nanomedicine;
- System performance and energy efficiency improvements;
- User experience and user studies for health-related applications;
- Security and privacy in smart and connected health;
- Ensuring fairness and trustworthiness in healthcare systems; and
- Addressing health disparities and promoting health equity in connected health systems.
Submission Instructions
A proposal for the full-day workshop should focus on a specific theme of current interest that can attract high-quality submissions. Please include the following information:
- Title of the workshop
- Significance and timeliness
- The target audience: Will this help bring new people to or help current participants in CHASE?
- Full contact and a short bio of the workshop organizers
- Planned format for the full-day workshop with expected paper submission volume and the expected number of participants.
- A tentative list of TPC members
- A draft of Call for Papers
- Advertisement plan for the Call for Papers
- History of the workshop (if applicable)
Papers in the workshops will be included in the proceedings, which will be coordinated by CHASE.
