  • 2022 IEEE International Symposium on Software Services Engineering (ISASSE 2022)

Software as a Service provides a general framework to encapsulate the underlying software functionalities as products to fulfill various requirements on the customer side. Software Service Engineering (SSE) can benefit from the prevalent body of knowledge and professional practice of software engineering methods and tools, as well as advances in other disciplines. In 2022, we will continue feature SSE sessions in the form of a symposium under the umbrella of the SCC conference.

  • 2022 IEEE International Symposium on Convergence of Cloud & HPC

Cloud computing is traditionally defined in terms of data and compute virtual services supporting on-demand applications that scale to thousands of simultaneous users. In contrast, High Performance Computing (HPC) is commonly associated with massive supercomputers that run highly parallel programs for small groups of users at a certain time. However, over the last five years, the demands of the scientific and engineering research community have created an evolutionary pressure to merge the best characteristics of these two models. HPC centers have started to offer services based on cloud-native technologies and on the other side, the hyperscalers now increasingly offer large HPC instances and deploy accelerated servers in combination with high-performance interconnects. Furthermore, the AI revolution is a key focus area for hyperscalers as well as HPC centers.

  • 2022 IEEE International Symposium on Quantum Software

The broad domain of Quantum Software (QSW) covers topics such as (hybrid) quantum software engineering, quantum software development, quantum in the cloud, quantum applications, quantum software analysis & evolution, and more. Our goal is to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners from different areas of quantum computing and (classical) software and service engineering to strengthen the quantum software community. This symposium will feature dedicated sessions under the umbrella of the QSW conference.
