The IEEE Symposium on intelligent Edge Computing and Communications (iEDGE) will be held on July 6-7, 2023, as a special event at the 2023 IEEE World Congress on Services (SERVICES). The iEDGE2023 aims to provide a global forum for disseminating the latest scientific research and industry results in the use of AI and Machine Learning in edge computing and communications. Its scope will cover Edge Intelligence (EI) and its applications, current and emerging. Centered around edge-enabled services, iEDGE2023 covers various research pertaining to edge-to-cloud continuum, edge security, and edge applications resilience. Particularly, the iEDGE2023 welcome papers on AI for edge computing and communications and edge computing and communications for AI systems.

The iEDGE2023 also aims to bring together researchers, practitioners and edge intelligence advocators in sharing and presenting their perspectives on the effective management of edge/fog deployment architectures. The symposium will address the field's theoretical foundations, applications, algorithms, software, networks, and systems. iEDGE2023 offers an opportunity to showcase the latest advances in this area and discuss/identify future directions and challenges. iEDGE symposium aims to serve as an innovative EI platform and feature some of the leading voices in research and industry supporting the integration of AI and edge computing for advancing the future of service computing globally.
