IEEE John Vincent Atanasoff Symposium on Modern Computing
July 5-6, 2023

The IEEE JVA Symposium on Modern Computing is dedicated to the inventor of electronic digital computing – John Vincent Atanasoff. It will serve as a tribute to this pioneer’s revolutionary accomplishments and as a celebration of Atanasoff’s 120th birthday. The Symposium will bring together scientists, researchers, and professionals from different countries featuring some of the leading voices in key research and industry areas for advancing the future of computing across the globe. The development of information technologies revolutionized the contemporary society and has been influencing greatly its economic and social progress. Nowadays, the rapid emergence of innovative hardware and software products in areas such as artificial intelligence, application specific IT infrastructures, supercomputing and Internet-of-things are emblematic future directions for modern computing, key topics in the symposium.
