The IEEE International Conference on Cloud Engineering (IC2E) invites submissions of workshop proposals on all the topics covered by the conference. Workshop proposals that advance the field of cloud engineering to new directions in sustainability, edge computing, serverless computing, container technologies, and distributed machine learning are especially encouraged.
Workshop organizers must submit their proposals in PDF via the Web submission form at EasyChair.
Workshop proposals should not exceed three pages and must include the following:
Acceptance will be based on an evaluation of the workshop proposal, the potential for generating useful results, the timeliness of and the expected interest in the topic, and the proposers' ability to lead a successful workshop. However, if multiple proposals are received on closely related topics, the workshop chairs may suggest merging them.
Organizers are expected to promote the workshop in related communities, create and maintain the workshop website, arrange for the collection and review of submissions, and coordinate the collection and delivery of camera-ready material and IEEE copyright transfers.
At least one workshop organizer is expected to register for the conference and physically attend the workshop. In addition, at least one author of each workshop paper should register for and physically attend the conference to present the paper.
Workshop papers should be at least 5 pages and should not exceed 9 pages including everything. Workshop paper titles must start with the phrase "[Acronym 2025 Workshop]:".
The camera-ready deadline for workshop papers should be aligned with the main conference, which is July 31, 2025. To meet this deadline, we suggest that organizers set the final paper submission deadlines no later than June 30 and send out notifications no later than July 25, 2025.
