- Authors must declare that the submission is original and has not been submitted to other venues or under consideration by other venues.
- Paper titles and/or author names cannot be changed and/or added to the papers once papers are submitted to IEEE/ACM CHASE 2026 for review, and in the final camera-ready manuscript if accepted.
- If the paper is accepted, at least one of the authors must register at full rate and present it in person at the conference. Only accepted, paid and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings or Smart Health Journal.
- CHASE adopts the double-blind reviewing policy. Please do not explicitly or implicitly leak the identity of any co-author or institution in your submissions.
- By submitting your article to an IEEE Publication, you are hereby acknowledging that you and your co-authors are subject to all IEEE Publications Policies, including IEEE's new Publications Policy on Research Involving Human Participants and Subjects. Alleged violations of this policy or any IEEE Publications Policy will be investigated by IEEE and may result in a full retraction of your paper, in addition to other potential penalties, as per IEEE Publications Policy.
- Please ensure that you and your co-authors obtain an ORCID ID, so you can complete the publishing process for your accepted paper. IEEE has been involved in ORCID from the start and we have recently made a commitment to collect ORCID IDs from all of our published authors. We are committed to improve author discoverability, ensure proper attribution and contribute to ongoing community efforts around name normalization; your ORCID ID will help in these efforts.
Camera-ready Submission Guidance
Information Last updated: 2026-05-31
For Poster & Demo Camera-Ready Submission Guideline, please refer to Poster/Demo.
Accepted regular, short and workshop papers can be published in IEEE Proceedings. Regular
papers (NOT short, or workshop ones) can also be published in Elsevier Smart Health Journal.
Authors can choose a suitable one from the two options below and indicate your selection to
the publication chair by filling out the following survey:
https://redcap.link/mx1qo4z5. The up-to-date
camera-ready submission deadline for each option is shown below.
Option 1: Regular, short and workshop papers to IEEE Proceedings (available now)
Submit camera-ready papers to https://ieeecps.org/cps/v2/auth/login?ak=1&pid=7BMD6hlVR6xqwvoPWfyNid. The deadline from IEEE is 18 June 2026 by 11:59PM PDT.
Please use the IEEE conference paper templates and make sure that the final submission has no more than 12 pages (5 pages for short papers). Up to two additional pages may be purchased at a price of $100 US dollars per page, for a total of 14/7 pages for regular/short papers. Workshop papers should be 6 pages at most.
Option 2: Regular (NOT short or workshop) papers to Elsevier Smart Health Journal
- The deadline from Elsevier is 18 June 2026 by 11:59PM PDT.
- Submit the camera-ready paper at Editorial Manager®, selecting the special issue: “VSI:CHASE 2026_invited only” for “Article Type” during the submission process.
- Please read the Guide for authors (https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/smart-health/publish/guide-for-authors) when preparing the camera-ready submission. Each submission will undergo a swift review process before being published in the Smart Health journal. There is no enforced page limit when converting the paper format from the IEEE template (12 pages) to the Elsevier journal format.
NOTE: Although short or workshop papers do not have the option to be included in the Elsevier Smart Health Journal as part of the CHASE 2026 invited only submissions, authors always have the option of extending the paper and submitting to the journal via their regular submission process. It will go through a regular review process, and the results will be independent of CHASE conference acceptance.
