IEEE SERVICES 2018 Important Notices
[02/26/2018] Important Notice – Worldwide Services Computing Community, Importance of Continued Archiving and Indexing of Past and Future IEEE Proceedings
This is a public announcement to the global services computing community. The IEEE World Congress on Services (IEEE SERVICES) to be held in San Francisco from July 2 to 7, 2018 is the only legitimate long-standing IEEE sponsored Congress completely owned by IEEE and IEEE Computer Society, including seven co-located conferences: IEEE ICWS, IEEE SCC, IEEE Cloud, IEEE ICIOT, IEEE EDGE, IEEE ICCC and IEEE BigData Congress. The IEEE World Congress on Services launched by the IEEE TCSVC from the start is celebrating its 12th anniversary in 2018. For continuity and worldwide recognition and visibility, authors are hereby reminded of the importance of continuing archiving and indexing of past and future IEEE proceedings, such as IEEE ICWS and IEEE SCC. See Previous Proceedings for the entire set of IEEE proceedings archived at IEEE Xplore: IEEE ICWS, IEEE SCC, IEEE Cloud, IEEE ICIOT, IEEE EDGE, IEEE ICCC and IEEE BigData Congress. Note that any other similarly named conferences are fresh starters beginning this year and operated by a different organization in Seattle, Washington that has nothing to do with IEEE.
[02/03/2018] Important Notice
The IEEE World Congress on Services in San Francisco is the latest continuation of a 14-year history of outstanding conferences. The IEEE World Congress on Services is in no way associated with any similarly-named non-IEEE event taking place in Seattle, Washington.
