The First IEEE SERVICES Workshop on Future Internet of Things Services (FIOTS)
The First IEEE SERVICES Workshop on Future Internet of Things Services (FIOTS)
The Internet of Things (IoT) is the result of the accelerating trend for objects to be networked and possess processing capabilities. This has enabled the next wave of technological innovations and have a dramatic effect on industries (IoT verticals) such as healthcare, transport, banking, government, telecommunications, smart city and so on. However, some vital and fundamental research gaps exist in the key IoT enablers to ensure that, as adoption of this technology increases, the service aspects evolve to meet expectations. The building block for these services should focus on trust by design, automation by design and security by design.
This workshop invites submission of paper in the research area of future of IoT Services in the IoT ecosystems but not limited to just the IoT Services.
In this workshop, topics of interest include but are not limited to:
- Service Level Agreement for Internet of Things
- Legal, policies and governance role for services in IoT
- IoT Automation
- IoT edge services
- IoT Security
- IoT Trust
- End-to-End IoT Management Framework
- Failure, Uncertainty and security breaches detection and remedy in IoT
- IoT decision support systems services
- Cryptography and steganography solution and services in IoT
- 5G and mission critical services role in IoT
- Blockchain as a service in IoT
