The brightest minds, the most innovative research, the leading companies, and the most stimulating discussions in the fields of virtual environments, augmented reality, and 3D user interfaces. You could find them all at IEEE Virtual Reality 2007, March 10-14 in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.

VR 2007 was a great success, with over 350 participants from more than 20 countries. Highlights included a fantastic Monday night social event at UNC Charlotte, a thought-provoking keynote address by Dr. Jim Foley, and the best paper award, presented to Tom Peterka and his colleagues for "Dynallax: Solid State Dynamic Parallax Barrier Autostereoscopic VR Display."

VR 2007 was held at the Hilton Charlotte Center City.

The final program is available, featuring 26 papers, 15 sketches, 5 tutorials, 3 workshops, and 3 panels.


Once again, IEEE VR 2007 was pleased to be co-located with the IEEE Symposium on 3D User Interfaces. Information on 3DUI 2007 can be found on its website.
