VR2008
Virtual Reality
March 8-12 Reno NV USA

Call for Participation: Posters

Instructions for final submission can be found here.

We invite the submission of proposals for technical poster presentations. Poster submissions might describe recently completed work, highly relevant results of work in progress, or successful systems and applications, in all areas of VR. Since posters are not regarded as formal publications, work submitted as a poster is elligible for future publication in other venues.

Poster presentations will be an integral part of the conference, with a session for interactive discussion between presenters and attendees, plus a fast-forward presentation track where authors can orally present a brief summary of their work to all conference attendees. Note that, in order to maintain interactive and exciting poster presentations, we will require at least one presenter per accepted poster attend the conference.

Poster submissions must be in English, and must include a camera-ready 2-page summary, plus a draft of the final poster. Two-page summaries will be included in the proceedings, and therefore must be formatted using the IEEE Computer Society format described at http://www.cs.sfu.ca/~vis/Tasks/camera.html.

The deadline for poster submission is:November 16, 2007.
(including camera-ready 2-page summary and poster draft)
Review decisions are expected to be announced: December 21, 2007.
